Patience is the key to learning to love running
take a day to let the muscles/tendons/ligaments recover. Consistency is important but you have to listen to your body.

Remember that in the early phases you are training your body to handle the impact of running. Before you know it, your 1 mile run will turn into a 2 mile run, then 3, then 4, and so on.

Good luck in your triathlon...they are a blast!
