I mean seeded lower than Montana? CSU gets an 11 seed as they rally to a 1-7 mark on the road in the MWC. I see a few choices. Schedule better and still lose most or all (apparently teams are rewarded for this). A 14 seed is a slap in the face to a team with a very good recent tourney history. St Bonaventure by virtue of 1 good weekend gets the same seed as BYU. Not to mention teams like Harvard, LBSU, and South Florida whose profile weaknesses were the same as BYU gets much better seed treatment. Colorado from the 10th rated conference gets an 11 after beating a bunch of non tournament teams.
The WCC hurt us badly this year. But BYU needs to start playing better in conference tournaments as this seemingly happens each year when BYU is yet again underseeded. That is the one constant and Rose needs to fix it.
