For the 60 minutes of Central Florida there were about 10 minutes of actual fan craziness... the 40-70 year old fan is a wait and see fan. They are up and jumping at the opening kickoff, they aren't in it on 2 and 8 at the start of the second quarter.
The Utah game with Collie was ho hum throughout the first half and again the fans RESPONDING to action. That is what the VAST majortiy of non-student fans do.
To say any of the game you mentioned were "electric" from the opening kickoff to the end is ridiculous. The LES gameday experience from opening kickoff is very average and has been for some time.
