financial expectations you have. You and I are both attorneys. The median salary for attorneys a couple of years ago was $50,000. That means half earned LESS than $50,000. I suspect it's lower today and even worse if you count those who are out of work.
Without getting into the specifics of what each of us earns, I'm confident we're both above the median, but you're above it by a lot more than I am. When you factor in tithing and other offerings along with multiple kids it is a stretch to pay for tickets to one or two football and one or two basketball games per year. Let alone season tickets and the cc levels you suggest should be so easy.
If I got priced out of being able to buy tickets because demand and cc memberships were high enough I wouldn't complain. But I'm not feeling remotely guilty about years in which I would have to make decisions against the counsel of church leaders in order to make your "easy" funding targets.
