you had from 1979 to 1996. Nothing before and not much since beyond mediocre top 25 teams who have beaten up on crappy teams and won 2-3 decent games since then. Your "top 25" team from last year lost to Utah's "bottom tier" PAC 12 team by 44 points at home with your Sainted QB. Until Bronco, Bowl games were an embarrassment most years and Bronco doesn't even have that great of a Bowl record. Yeah we are so scared because we are playing USC, and the likes of Oregon and Stanford starting next year, Big 10 teams and we are scared of BYU. Really? Give me a break. I guess we are taking a page from BYU's philosophy to schedule 2-3 difficult games a year, lose them and then then beat up on some terrible teams and claim we have a top 25 team. Guess we are learning from the best. Comparing even Washington St and Washington to teams you guys have on your schedule is embarassing to you guys.
