BYU of old(before my time but from what I remember as a kid and what I hear) was innovative and unpredictable. They won games against teams with superior talent because they had a better system and grittier players.
BYU's offense under Anae put up near prolific numbers but failed at the worst times against better defensive schemes. Hence the promotion of Doman. Its been a rocky transition for sure but BYU needs to bring back the innovation that made them great.
