I don't think there is anything wrong with criticizing or having complaints about a team or program.
What I do have a problem with are the guys who think that it is their purpose on this planet to point out every single flaw with a team or program. Like it is their job to enlighten us idiots to the problems with a program. These are the guys who ONLY have negative things to say and turn every positive into a negative somehow.
These are the guys who get on CB day after day after day and say that Bronco doesn't say the right things, Rose doesn't play the right players, Holmoe isn't trying hard enough, the board of trustees sucks, Nelson sucks, Heaps sucks, the whole team sucks, LES is old and ugly, the MC's chairs are gross, team colors are wrong, the baggy undershirts are dumb, the schedule sucks, independence sucks, recruiting sucks, development sucks, coaching sucks, the field is awful, the sponsors are dumb, the parking sucks, the fans are idiots, the honor code is old and outdated, the video boards aren't big enough, the band plays stupid songs, BYU PR sucks, the team slogan is dumb and on and on and on and on...
These are the guys who will comment on a post called "Rose is a good coach" with "Except he plays Zylstra too much". They'll react to a post called "Nelson played a great game" with "Too bad it was against Idaho".
May I suggest to you posters who are like this that sports are not the thing for you. Every program has a coach that doesn't say the right things 100% of the time. Has a coach that doesn't play the right players. Every team loses games. Every player misses a tackle or shot or catch or throw. Nothing is perfect with any program or any team on the entire planet. If you can't handle that then stop watching sports. It's not for you. Your life will be better if you do.
***ONCE AGAIN***
I am not saying that you cannot criticize or complain about something you don't like. This post is directed at those who ONLY criticize or complain about something they don't like and never contribute anything positive to CB.
