that you shouldn't be criticizing any of those people, either. You DON'T know enough about what's going on in government to be convincingly critical of the President. This doesn't mean you can't do it. It means that if you do, you ought to use a modicum of humility and be very open to the possibility that you're completely full of crap.
That goes just as well for the cable repairman, or anyone else, even people that do the same things you do. You can't really know well enough to be sure.
Doesn't mean I'm not guilty of it. I wish I weren't, though.
