I sell the NFL figures for an average of about $50-$60 per figure. The base figures cost $12-15 to start with, then I use another $5-10 in paint, sprays, decal paper, paintbrushes, sculpting clay, etc. So I basically make about $25 per figure (ebay takes another 5) and it takes about 8 hours to make one. So I'm clearly not doing it to make a living. I have fun doing it - it is a distraction from my actual job - helps me kill the BYU football urge in the Spring/Summer - and allows me to get a little extra spending money to afford Christmas presents for my kids.

But basically I make less than your average 16 year-old McDonald's worker.
