The Utes are a good team, but get your facts straight and give BYU some credit.

Your post talks about your families legacy with Utah. So let me get this straight, you can only talk about your families legacy with the Utes, but BYU fans can't talk about their legacy with the Cougars? Make up your mind my friend.

You then go on to say BYU fans from your era (1986) have no idea of BYU dominance. Check your facts, since 1986 the record is 13 to 13. Where is Utah's domination there? Oh wait you picked since you were 16 to show your teams domination, this was a year where Utah took 4 straight and since that date the Utes are conveniently 7 to 3. Why didn't you pick the whole decade of the 2000's when you were 14, where the record is 7 to 5 for the Utes, which is a lot closer, I wouldn't call it domination. Or you could have picked since the 1990's where the record is 10 to 12 for the Utes. Again not a domination in my book. Or how about you just take the Whittingham vs Bronco era where the record is 4 to 3 for the Utes, again not a domination in my book.

In fact if you are talking about not talking about legacy you can never bring up the entire record for the Utes vs BYU of 55344.

So have a little class and give both teams some credit for what they have done.
