This brings a ton of extra cash into the Big 12 and SEC and is a huge step in creating 4 power conferences. ACC teams are going to see that money and do all they can to get into the Big 12 and SEC.
No matter how you slice it, that is terrible news for BYU. The only way it could be good news is if the Big 10 or Pac 12 feel like this forces their hand to add BYU.
