1. SEC teams sell out every home game anyway.

2. The tv contracts pay the same for SEC games whether or not Georgia plays Georgia Tech or Georgia Southern.

3. Home games make more money than road games.


So if you take a team like Florida who only has to play 1 OOC road game every two years. Why give up an extra sold out home game so you can get beat by Texas?
