I got a stop light camera ticket in the mail today. The date of the infraction was 4/27/12 at 10:46 AM at the corner of SB Austin Peay HWY and Yale Road in Memphis, Tennessee. The car photographed was a White Dodge (caliber it looks like) with the license plate 028-NPX.
The only problems are:
I haven't lived in Memphis in 3 years, I now live in Wisconsin.
I was at work on 4/27/12 at 10:46. My wife was checked in a the gym in town here.
My car they cited was my blue Chevy Malibu that was sold last year in Wisconsin. It had been licensed in Wisconsin for 2 years.
My car's license plate was 038-NPX anyways, I have that license plate in hand.
The fine is $50 and admission of guilt, or in person trial, which would cost $450 for a plane ticket.
