It is the University of Utah. I could never cheer for them. I am at the point right now where college football is making me sick and I'm losing excitement. If it were not for BYU, I would cease being a fan and follow it as I follow the NFL; watch a game here or there and pay attention to the standings but no emotional investment.

Sadly, with the all the stuff going on, I think the chances of BYU being left out are greater than them being included.

If I could wax religious and self-righteous for a moment, CFB is like the gadianton robbers and we are trying to be part of their "good works." The way the sport is going, do we even want to be part of it?

I think it is time to eliminate intercollegiate sports or start treating it like a business; pay the players, tax the revenues, make them subject to other applicable laws. They have very little to do with education anymore.
