plenty of other very popular bands. I trust my ears - if I hear a song and like it - good band. If I hear a song and dislike it, I don't like that band. Their relative popularity only increases or decreases the chances that I'll come across the song. Kings of Leon seem like a group that I should like (based on my other preferences), but the way the lead singer's constant straining of his voice bugs me.
