I would argue that having someone else hit for the pitcher
makes your team more dangerous. Especially if your DH is one of the power hitters on your team. Sure, there are some pitchers that hit well, like Stephen Strasburg or Adam Wainwright, but I think having someone hit for your pitcher would give you an advantage.
