it seems to me reading this board the past year. And not because of on field or on court outcomes. It seems to be mental. Utah going to the PAC12 has elevated them beyond us for many of our fans. So many posts refer to why this or that is not acceptable for BYU because it does not keep up with Utah. Utah is in a bigger conference. Utah gets more money. Utah plays better schools.
If we are not Utah fans, why do we care? We should want the best that BYU can do, regardless of how that correlates to Utah. If every decision relates back to "how does this stack up against what Utah is doing" then they have become the standard and we ARE little brother. How can you possible talk smack about somebody you are trying so hard to be like by your own admission?
Just my observation anyway. I think we should want the best for BYU without any consideration, AT ALL, given to what Utah does or does not do, IMHO.
