The only other option is that BYU royally sucked because they lost at home 54-10 to a medicore--at best--team (a team that lost to Colorado at home). BYU wasn't that bad last year; they were unprepared for that game. And yes, there is a pattern of unpreparedness in bigger games. You need look no further than the past 4-5 TCU games for evidence. None of those games has been competitive. And that's not because BYU sucks so badly.
