....if you bothered to read my response was to his comment about why can't some BYU fans just forget about last years bad game.
If the results had been reversed and they were talking about ending the series would you want a game like that one to be the last one you played and the last one that sticks in your memory?
The memory of the last game sticks with you or in this case, losing 3 of the last 4. Who wants to end the rivalry on a note like that? That's why some BYU fans on CB are voicing criticism of Bronco's coaching methods and his penchant for lowering the standard of excellence instead of raising it. Some of us expect more from him than he's apparently wanting to give and I think he's feeling it to the point that now his wife is getting vocal about it as well. She wants him home more and wants fans to back off of him.
Well, if backing off of him means I have to accept crappy game preparation like we saw last year then no thanks. I'm going to continue to make noise.
Some jobs just require the head guy to work more hours than others. You don't ask to be the Lead Dog if you don't want to shoulder the harness. I'm not calling for him to be fired, I just want him to step up and shoulder the harness.

"I'll admit, BYU football in the 80s was very respectable. Very cool, classic Lavell. Alot of great players. Mcmahon, Young, Detmer. Very good teams."
