Kind of ironic that your SN would be fresh perspective yet cling to your "old" ways. The point he was making is that to him, a 26 year old young man, your claims to fame mean nothing because they are not his experience. Ours, not his. And if your only claim to being greater than your rival is based over 25 years ago, it should probably be a reality check.
Bottom line is that by the absolute most recent standard (last game) Utah is dominant 54-10, over the last 10 years - (7-3) Utah. 20 years - (12-8) Utah. The only way BYU becomes relevant is to go back further than 20 years. But even that only goes so far because Y fans act like 1972 was the beginning of the rivalry as if they weren't Utah's tackling pads for 50 years prior to that.
As to your NFL comments, who developed those recruits into NFL talent? I know that's a concept you Y fans can't fathom since no one has developed anyone there since Lavell and Norm. WHIT got those players into the NFL and will continue getting HIS recruits into the NFL. BYU has had no one drafted the last 2 years. Impressively unimpressive.
He may be young, but you sound like the dumb naive one.
Each year that passes, 1984 gets further and further away. Have fun watching us from outside the BCS.
