My post was a Rant about how ridiculous Kyle's statement about being above the rivalry, when truthfully he wouldn't have a job if it weren't for the rivalry. He won a national title as a player at BYU, and now coaches for the Utes
I am just a fan of sports who is tired of tradition being thrown away, disregarded and minimized. Sports at their core are rivalries. There is a reason Jonny Harline is still a household name along with Brett Ratliff and others. There's a reason why Lakers Celtics still draws the most interest in the NBA, and a reason why college football's highest rated games are rivalry games.
You totally took my post out of context and called it what it's not. It is a RANT based on a RIVALRY.
Also it was meant to be funny and overstated for a message board for my team...so try not to take it so seriously.
