Nebraska's pride got hurt with Texas calling all the shots in the Big 12. So the BIG 10 reached out to them and soozed their egos. Now Nebraska has cut themselves off from their Texas recruiting pipeline and is forced to recruit out East in the overfished waters of Ohio and Michigan. There recruiting ranking this year was #50. A lot of you will say that doesn't matter. It does if you used to always be in the top 25. It's an indictment on the direction and appeal of the program. Without Texas recruits Nebraska is going to shrivel up and fight for Big 10 mediocrity. A shame for such a storied and succesful program.
Tom Osborne who helped elevate the Cornhusker Nation ironically is now responsible for killing it off.
