I agree with that. But BYU is the only side
that wants to keep it like it was- not like Utah who does not see the value in the rivalry for rivalry's sake. CU and CSU make it work every year. USC and ND make it work. These are teams from other conferences and could damage their seasons if they lose out of conference- but in reality they see the value in it.

I think that each school can survive without the other, so in that since I will mourn the loss of the game, but I will not think that it will irreparably damage either program to abandon it if the Yewts decide to suddenly act like they have the more valuable franchise in the state and try to bully BYU.
