I was about 16 years old, and on BYU's campus for Education Week one summer. I was taking Whoppers (the candy) and rolling them along the sidewalk trying to get unsuspecting people to step on them with some friends. Lavell walked out of one of the buildings I was next to, and I approached him (he was only like 10 feet away from me) and said "Lavell, do you want a Whopper" and I held out the box towards him. He laughed and said "no". That was my only interaction with him.

I also once saw Bronco at my church building around 2007 or so IIRC. I was getting my TR renewed and he was sitting in the foyer with one of his kids. I said "Hi Coach" in passing and he nodded and said hello. That was it.

Strangely, I have never seen any of the assistant coaches randomly like this outside of a BYU football related venue.
