1969 was still in the era of funny numbers, with possessions and shots being so astronomical that the numbers from that era are junk. That Celtics team had two players average 7 rpg, one average 8.8, and another average 19.3.
No power forward has done it. I thought the stat must be wrong and that Barkley must have, since Game 3 was a triple overtime game and I thought he had a 40+ point game early in the series. But he averaged 29 points through those first 3 games, even with the 3 OT game.
