See that is kind of what I was thinking. If it were a situation where they were selecting conference champions for the Playoffs then BYU would be out in the dark. However if it is just selecting the top 4 ranked teams regardless of conference then BYU is going to have to put itself in position with scheduling difficult to get ranked in the top 4. If BYU was to joing the BIG 12 the schedule would be set up for them but it certainly wouldn't be any easier!
