I've been wondering about that. either scallywag or maybe some weird viking word. then again, the vikings were a bunch of scallywags themselves, so it would not surprise me at all if "scall" "scallywag" and some ancient viking something or other all combined to mean that scall is short for scallywag.
anyway, I hate that guy.
