I find this interesting because Rupert worked closely with my dad in the 90's. Rupert handpicked my dad to run the salt lake fox station in the early 90's and my dad supervised rupert's daughter, liz, who worked as the programming director. My dad and rupert became close wih my sister babysitting rupert's grandkids and my dad even has a letter from rupert that says "whatever you want, ill get it for you." Rupert had a lot of questions about the church and seemed genuinly interested in it (not in converting, just interest in the church)

and no rupert never told my dad to wire tap anyone
