Hope you guys don't think I'm trolling, but I wanted to share my opinion. I grew up in the shadow of the U and have always cheered for the U. I have a degree from the U as well. I did attend BYU for a while and have always cheered for the Y when not playing Utah. I know a lot of people on here hate everything about Utah, but I can tell you that from the standpoint of a member I love the respectful interactions between lds and non lds students and fans at the U. Are there some anti-church types at the U? Sure, but I've had mostly positive interactions. I've also personally known several people who have been baptized lds as a direct result of their time at the U. This may sound harsh, but no one has ever joined the church, or even at least had a positive view of the church thanks to some member throwing his hands up and saying "they're all a bunch of hopeless drunken yewts." That attitude irks me a lot more than some non member who dislikes the church for whatever reason. Anyway, just my take.
