Removing subsidy is good policy - Academically and Fiscally

Ending athletic department subsidies of BCS teams is good policy in Utah. It is good policy in my current state, Virginia. It is good policy in California. It is good policy in Florida. It is is good policy in Texas.

Show me a single state where removing state subsidies for BCS teams is bad policy. If athletic department subsidies were good policy, I'm sure BYU would do it with tithing money.
