They can't just give a spot to Canada like they do for the Gold Cup, right? Then who would Canada qualify with? They aren't going to participate in the Caribbean or Central American championships and CONCACAF can't use the teams that qualify for the hex because it won't have happened yet. I suppose they could say the teams that qualify for this cycle's hexagonal will go to the Copa Panamerica in 2016.
