I bought a cordless electric mower (Homelite) because I have a small yard and felt like my wife could still mow while I was deployed. My electric mower just isn't very powerful. It stalls out if you try to cut too much (I mulch). The battery does fine and I can mow my lawn and half the neighbors in one charge, but to recharge it, it takes forever.
Every time I take the lawn mower out, I hope it doesn't start so I have an excuse to go buy a gas mower.
