There is no public good. It is absolutely a witch hunt. The guy probably did dope...but he beat them. He beat them every time. He beat the other riders who were also doping and he beat every athletic federation that wanted to make their bones bringing him down. He won. Let the dead horse be.
This latest extra-judicial, no due process, kangaroo court might finally take him down. But they will be violating any sense of due process in doing so. And for what?
It's a witch hunt. The guy won every battle when he was actually in the ring. If you couldn't take him down then, no one wins trying to take him down now. Giant waste of time and money.
