is the REAL reason they don't want to try and schedule with BYU.

I have to agree with their administration though....they know they can only win 4-5 games in conference and they need at least 2-3 wins to get to bowl eligibility, thus they will schedule patsies. If they don't make it to a bowl game, they risk becoming irrelevant very quickly. They know they are 2nd fiddle in the state, and they need to be able to make claims to recruits, etc. So actually I don't blame the thought behind there decision.

Yewtah admin have made it clear they will schedule only 1 tough opponent out of conference a year.
