remember when we all used to talk about football...you know, the actual game?
remember when we actually enjoyed dissecting the future team and how they would match up with AFA or CSU or Utah?
remember when ONE SINGLE game on ESPN was a HUGE deal and like being given an extra birthday present? (now we have 11 of 13 and 17 of our first 19 and it's an afterthought)
remember when playing the likes of Northern Iowa, CSU, WYO, USU, UNM and UNLV were acceptable? (and now a few games against SJSU and NMSU and Idaho are discussed with more venom and animosity than the Halocaust)
remember when a home schedule like 2013 (texas, BSU, Utah, GT) would have us all drooling even now a year in advance?
remember when those games were on the Mtn? remember how cool it was to have just one on ESPN? now all 4 of those will easily be on ESPN and all we do is whine about not knowing about a few games in november?
remember when having a tough, out-spoken, like-able senior QB was cool?
remember when getting back to 10 and 11 wins seemed impossible and those first teams that did it were honored like heroes?
remember when we all used to watch Furious Monkey's videos over and over again and scoure Youtube looking for ANYTHING related to BYU football? (now we have like 100+ games on BYUtv in HD that we can watch whenever we want)
