Games on ESPN were a big deal? Not to me. I got to see every game. 100+ games on demand? Was your DVR too full of Lucy re-runs? I have almost every game from the past five years on DVD. I'd much rather watch those than the constantly interrupted streaming I get from BYUtv.com. Games with Wyoming were not only acceptable they helped us win a conference championship in '06 and '07, and they helped get us to the vegas bowl several other years. Home schedule like '13? That's a good home schedule, but we've had to pay for it with a terrible home schedules in '11, and we'll continue to pay in the future since we had to schedule 2 for 1 to get Texas. Also not sure that getting Utah on the schedule is better than years past. Seems like we played them every year, no? Boise is a great team to have, but it isn't like we never could have gotten them to come to Provo before we went Indy. Ga Tech did play us in Provo in '03.

I really don't see how this is like the best of times. To me it's pretty similar to what we've always had except a better tv deal, and no championship to play for.
