BSU coaches before Peterson also had fairly great winning percentages and everyone thought they were great coaches. As we have seen, when they have finally moved on to coach at other schools their effectiveness as a coach seems to drop. I think there is a correlation between playing WAC-like schedules year in and year out and their winning percentages.

It would be interesting to see Peterson move on to another program to see if the success follows. Just my opinion.
