He had 3 carries for 26 yards in the first half against Oregon State and didn't get another carry the rest of the game. There are two explanations for that; either he was still hurt and couldn't go after that, or our offensive coaches are incompetent. Call me blue-goggled, but I'll believe the first one.
High ankle sprains need months of little to no activity to fully heal. He didn't have time during the season to recover.
It is a blow, though not a lethal one. I think Hine has more physical talent; I just hope he can learn the offense well enough to step up. I have more hope for him than for Lasike, who is also more physically talented than Juice but has much more to learn than Hine does.
