they're not playing BYU. There were/are tons of USU students
like me (and for that matter a ton that are Ute fans first and Aggies second). There is a contingent of die hard Aggies (like the ones who post on usufans) who are really vocal and who just loathe BYU. Most of them don't despise Utah, though, for some reason which I never completely understood. I totally get
The animosity towards the Y, but Utah is the flagship state school in Utah, with USU being sort of the secondary public school. Seems like USU fans would have more animosity to the U also. I guess these types just expend all of their energy on hating BYU. It's cool. I always kind of saw it as an honor that they spend more of their hours and energy towards hating BYU than I do reminiscing about good times in Logan.
