People keep pointing out that Bronco never mentions Hine when talking about the RBs. I don't think Bronco is doing anything abnormal or trying to prove some point. From everything I've heard and read, Hine just hasnt looked impressive since being home from his mission, even during spring ball. His physique is impressive but his speed is average and he hasn't done anything to move his way up the depth chart. I think he'll get there at some point but he's got a way to go. Foote is actually faster and has much more experience in the system. Alisa is obviously our #1 back, then you have Iona who can play both RB and FB. Add in Lasike who had a very solid spring and it's not hard to imagine Hine getting a little lost in the depth chart.


From talking to people close to the program he just needs to get better and improve to get PT this year. It's early in fall camp though and hopefully Hine put in a lot of solid work over the summer and can find opportunities to shine.
