If that's what you choose to reference, all the power to you. The last 53 might as well be the last 60, 70, 80 or more to me. But there is nothing wrong with that. Your impression should be shaped by your own experiences. If you were lucky enough to be a college student during BYU's heyday, than their legacy and history is going to mean a ton to you and it should.
