their stadium and facilities? They make one announcement about trying to do color coordination for games and (if CB is a microcosm for the entire fanbase) they may as well have asked everyone to cut off all their hair and wear pink tutus.
"I have to spend more money on more shirts for all my family in addition to my tickets and food and travel?!"
"Dark blue shirts are way too warm. I won't wear one."
It goes on and on...
I understand and even sympathize with some of the objections given, but is it any wonder why BYU hasn't even probably considered certain things like expansion, more box seating, nicer facilities, etc? They need fans to pay for it and use them and be happy about it and BYU fans notoriously in the past have shown resistance to forking out any more money, time, etc than they barely have to. And we continue to see it with this new announcement.
If BYU fans want to be a big boy program with big boy facilities, activities, amenities, etc we need to stop acting like little girls and act like big boys. Fork out the cash, wear the gear and be a big boy fan. Most of the big boy programs have no shortage of these fans. I hate to say it but even if we acted a little more like Boise fans it would be a good thing.
Act however you want but you forfeit all rights to complain about what BYU does or doesn't do when you aren't a big boy fan.
