and I hate the fact that they can trade garbage and get superstars in return. Their trade for Pau Gasol was dirty from the get-go and ultimate Laker fan David Stern purposefully turned a blind eye in letting that crooked deal go through between two lifelong Laker loyalists (Kupchak and Jerry West). It netted them 2 NBA Championships that they didn't deserve.
Now they pull off another trade, less egregious than the Gasol trade, but rotten still the same. They trade a mal-contented, often injured, mercurial and enigmatic Andrew Bynum who can never be relied on or counted upon for a guaranteed superstar good for 20pts and 14 rebs a night plus dominating defense in the paint. The fact that they had to throw in a 1st round draft pick in the deal is inconsequential because Lakers always pick at the bottom of the 1st round and so their pick is basically worthless.
Once again the principal trading partner gets crap and the Lakers get a centerpiece for another NBA championship (or two or three). I'm done with the NBA.

"I'll admit, BYU football in the 80s was very respectable. Very cool, classic Lavell. Alot of great players. Mcmahon, Young, Detmer. Very good teams."
