he used to have a day every year where he would
host the young men in the stake...i remember his coming and talking to us.

and i specifically remember his answering one question about how he dealt with the issue of garments in the clubhouse.

also, although this might be a bit ironic now, i picked up a book the other day written by elder paul h. dunn about LDS athletes and he had a whole chapter on harmon killebrew in the book.

if he wasn't "officialy" LDS, i couldn't tell...he certainly "acted" like a mormon. i always assumed he was LDS.
