Nice. Really nice.
but I would try to put an offer in on Monday or Tuesday. I'd be shocked if the other offer was accepted/rejected by 7 PM on a Friday night.

Make it an offer you're comfortable with. But understand that until the sale closes (likely 1-2 months away IF the other offer was accepted and higher than whatever offer you will be putting in), the seller and buyer's offer agreement is a VERY fluid contract with LOTS of out clauses. You can't lose throwing your hat in the ring if by Sunday night you and your wife have discussed the matter and feel good about trying to get a last minute offer in.

Also, if you are able to get an offer considered after the weekend (the seller actually didn't have to agree to the offer by 7 PM tonight), fire your realtor. She/he was likely trying to put you under the gun to get an offer in before you were ready and able.
