Look into ANY breed of dog. Do you think that chihuahua's just showed up the way they are? They were bred to be what they are, just like pits were. There was no such thing as a "pit bull" X many years ago. They were created by man from older species of dogs do be what they are today.

Pits did not even exist before the 19th century. So just as you can (and people still do) breed favorable traits into dogs, you can breed them out. Any domesticated animal has had this done to them.

In other words, God did not create the pitbull, man did. If you took the time that the pit breeders did to breed in the pits traits, you could breed out a labs traits if that was your desire.

Do pits "have tools to be deadly and efficient", yes.

Again, if you research this ( I have done a lot of this over the past 3 years ) you would see that they are less likely to attack other dogs OR humans than lots of other breeds. The problem is, when they do... it tends to do more damage. Combine that with the media's love affair with "Evil Pitbulls" and you have an entire generation of people who fear something they really have no education of.

As a person who is often misrepresented or misunderstood because of my religion, I simply feel its important to make sure you understand the truth about something rather than what the media or your friend/family member has told you.
