Offenses and defenses do not operate in a vacuum. They just don't. In fact, a good DC probably knows more about a variety of offenses than a good OC who specializes in his particular offense. Is Bronco as schooled on the details of a particular offense as that offenses OC? I sure hope not...because if he is he is probably going to get waxed by the next guy he plays.

But people who want to use that quote as an indictment are only indicting themselves. You can't be as effective in organizing a defense as Bronco without understanding offense. You have taken a quote and tried to turn black into white. Show some depth. Show some nuance. Show some common sense for Pete's sake.
