My experience, like yours, seemed to have been much different than everyone else's. I lived the honor code, but hung out with a lot who did not follow it and none of them were reported or kicked out. I personally like the honor code. I loved going to a school that was different, where you are held accountable to a higher standard. The very minute that standard is lowered.....the uniqueness and feel that BYU has, would change. I went to BYU, and not UVU or UofU, for a reason. Plain and simple, if you are unwilling or unable to follow and keep the rules, BYU is not the place for you. BYU is not for everybody....and that is not a bad thing.
