PF is super cheap without a contract. The weights and machines are good.
They also have basically "meathead" rules (i.e., no grunting, dropping weights, etc.). I don't think they have much by way of classes and whatnot, though and they don't have basketball courts, swimming pools, etc. pretty no frills.
