I know that the BYU defense is the worst in history of college football well except maybe the wyoming defense the utes played on Saturday. Wyoming is ranked 71st in total defense while BYU is ranked 50. BYU has also played a much stiffer schedule than Wyoming. So if the utes are going to struggle at home vs Wyoming they will probably continue to struggle vs every team they play (except maybe new mexico) and that includes BYU. No BYU does not have a great defense but what has utah shown this year that makes us think we will struggle to stop them? And before you bring up Florida State and TCU please remember those teams are much, much better on offense than the utes are. I guess my point is if San Jose state, UNLV and to a much greater extent Wyoming has some success stopping utah then I think BYU can stop them as well and not because we are good on defense but because utah is worse on offense.
